About Virginia-Highland
Virginia-Highland
neighborhood in
Atlanta, Georgia
was founded in
the 20th the
beginning of the
century is a
streetcar
community. Locus
and the origin
of the name of
the commercial
district at the
junction of
Virginia and
North Highland
options. This is
bounded on the
north east by
the Emory
Village
Morningside,
Poncey-Highland
to the south and
west of Piedmont
Park and
Midtown.
As opposed to
neighborhoods
like Inman and
Grant Parks,
this
neighborhood
never really
faltered during
the recession in
1960 in
Atlanta's intown.
If at the end of
the 1960s, it is
proposed to
connect the
road, which is
now free through
the neighborhood
Parkway to I-85,
and Stone
Mountain, and Va-HI
residents,
together with
the Inman Park
and Morningside
were sentenced
