About Cascade Heights
Cascade Heights is an affluent
predominantly African-American neighborhood located
southwest of Atlanta, Georgia. It is adjacent to West
End. If the last ten years, Atlanta's Cascade District
is expanding west of the new subdivisions and shopping
centers. It is similar to other upper middle-class
suburb, with almost all of its African American
residents. Cascade Heights Notable residents include:
the current Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin, baseball
